The group stage of the Asian Games in Hangzhou, has finished. Uzbekistan U23 team, participating in it, won the second match against Hong Kong with a score of 2:1 and took the first place in the group.

Hong Kong player Lei Ngai Hoi opened the scoring in the 4th minute. At the beginning of the second half, Alisher Odilov made a mistake when shooting a penalty kick. In the 65th minute, Alibek Davronov headed the ball from the right wing into the goal and restored the balance.

In the 70th minute, the captain of the Uzbekistan Olympic team, Jasurbek Jaloliddinov, scored a goal and secured victory.

At the end of the match, Hojimat Erkinov and Hong Kong player Jahangir Khan were sent off for arguing with each other.

Thus, Uzbekistan became the group winner with 6 points. Our national team will compete with the Indonesian national team in the 1/8 finals. The match will start on September 28 at 13:30 Tashkent time.
