Today, on 5 September, the Matchday 3 fixtures of Group A at the CAFA Nations Cup 2025 kicked off in Tashkent.

Under the guidance of Timur Kapadze, the Uzbekistan national team faced the Kyrgyz Republic and secured a convincing 4–0 victory.

Goals for our team were scored by Akmal Mozgovoy (21’), Otabek Shukurov (67’), Igor Sergeev (82’), and Azizbek Turgunboev (90+3’).

Uzbekistan will play their next match on 8 September, taking on Iran in the final for the championship title. The decisive clash will take place at the Olympic Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 19:30.
