Today, September 3, the Group “E” matches of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers kicked off in Bishkek.

Uzbekistan U-23 national team led by head coach Ravshan Haydarov faced Sri Lanka and claimed a convincing 4–0 victory.

The goals for Uzbekistan were scored by Umarali Rakhmonaliyev (38’), Rustam Turdimurodov (40’, 55’), and Sardorbek Bakhromov (70’).

Uzbekistan will play their next match on September 6 against the Kyrgyz Republic. The fixture will take place at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek, kicking off at 21:00 Tashkent time.
