Today, on July 12, Uzbekistan national futsal team played against Guatemala, a participant of the FIFA World Cup 2024, and lost – 2:3.

In the 3rd minute, Mekhroj Khudoyberganov opened the score. After that, the Guatemala national team’s futsal players increased their attacks and Patrick Ruiz equalized the score in the 9th minute. In the 24th minute of the second half, Patrick Ruiz scored again. In the 27th minute, Roberto Alvorado scored the team’s 3rd goal. In the 32nd minute, Dilshod Rahmatov, the captain of Uzbekistan national futsal team scored a goal and reduced the score to 2:3.

Thus, our team under the management of Jose Venancio Lopez lost to Guatemala in the second match. The third match between the teams will be held on July 22 in the Mirabror Usmanov Cup.
