Today, on October 1, Uzbekistan U-23 national team played against Saudi Arabia in the quarter-finals stage of the Asian Games hosted by Hangzhou and won 2:1.

Our players started the match actively and Saidazamat Mirsaidov scored in the 24th minute. In the 44th minute, Alisher Odilov made the score 2:0 after a pass by goalkeeper Vladimir Nazarov. Maran Muhammad, the player of Saudi Arabia, scored the only goal of his team in the 66th minute. This score did not change until the end of the game.

In this way, Uzbekistan Olympic team have qualified the semi-finals of the Asian Games for the first time since 1994.
