Today, the second round of Group “G” matches in the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers kicked off at the “Do‘stlik” Stadium.
Uzbekistan U-20 women’s national team, coached by Vladimir Panov, faced the Northern Mariana Islands and secured a dominant 8-0 victory.
The goals for Uzbekistan were scored by:
Nilufar Nurmuhammadova (6’, 71’),
Mehribon Egamberdiyeva (8’, 53’),
Asalxon Aminjonova (30’),
Shaxnoza Dekanbayeva (39’),
Diyora Baxtiyorova (55’), and
Dilnura Mamatqulova (80’).
In the other Group G fixture, Jordan claimed a 6-0 win over Bahrain.
Uzbekistan will play their final group match on August 10 against Jordan, with the winner securing top spot in the group and qualification for the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup.
Additionally, three more spots will be awarded to the best second-placed teams across all groups.
