Today, the Group “G” matches of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers kicked off at the “Do‘stlik” Stadium.

The Uzbekistan U-20 women’s national team, coached by Vladimir Panov, faced off against Bahrain and secured a dominant 8-0 victory.

Goals for our team came from Etibor Shodiyeva (brace), Diyora Baxtiyorova, Dilnura Mamatkulova, Ruxshona Saydabbosova, and Shakhnoza Dekanbayeva. Two more goals were credited as own goals by Bahraini players.

In the group’s opening fixture, Jordan defeated the Northern Mariana Islands 6-1.

Uzbekistan will play their next match against the Northern Mariana Islands on August 8.
