Today, August 24, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) held the AFC Champions League group stage draw of the 2023/24 season for Western and Eastern zones.

This year, Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia), which signed a contract with Karim Benzema, Fabinho and N’Golo Kante, as well as Sepakhon (IR Iran) and Air Force (Iraq), together with Olmaliq’s OKMK team, took a place in Group C.

Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia), include world football stars such as Neymar, Malcom, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Yassine Bounou and Ruben Neves, will start their participation in the tournament from Group D. Thus, Moreover, Navbahor, Nassaji (Iran) and Mumbai City (India) also in the group.

Regulation of the AFC Champions League

Ten groups of four teams each were formed. The group stage of the main tournament in which Asian clubs participate consists of six rounds and will continue from September 18 to December 13. All teams play home-away system.

According to the results of the group stage, the five group winners from each zone (West and East), as well as the three teams that took the second place with the best result in their quartets, goes to 1/8 finals stage.
