Uzbekistan qualify for the AFC U23 Asian Cup

Today, September 12, AFC U23 Asian Cup-2024 Qualifiers Group “E” the third round matches were held in Tashkent. The Olympic national team of Uzbekistan played the match against Islamic Republic of Iran national team at the “Jar” stadium, winning 1:0 and qualifying for the Asian Cup.

Abbosbek Fayzullayev scored the only goal in the match in the 47th minute.

Husayn Norchayev, forward of the national team of Uzbekistan, became the top scorer of the qualifying round with 6 goals.
