The draw for qualification for the Asian Cup, which will be held next year in China, took place today.
The qualifiers will take place on June 8, 11 and 14 in a centralized format in Kuwait, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, India, Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan (in group order). The national team of Uzbekistan got into group “C”. The matches of this group will be held in Namangan.

The national team of Uzbekistan will play its first match in the qualifying round of the Asian Cup on June 8 against the national team of Sri Lanka.
The winners of the groups and the top five second teams will advance to the final tournament.
