On the initiative of the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Shaikh Salman, the opening ceremony of the renovated UFA artificial turf pitch was held on the basis of the Enhance program.

The event was attended by AFC Vice President Zaw Zaw, General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John, The Director of Regional Associations Department Vahid Kardani, The Senior Vice President of UFA Ravshan Irmatov, Uzbekistan National team head coach Srecko Katanec, Adviser to the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Avaz Karimov, young participants, mass media and representatives of the general public took part.

The general secretary of AFC expressed the hope that football infrastructure is developing in Uzbekistan, and in particular, this field has been serving children for many years, and from among those involved, candidates for the national teams of Uzbekistan will grow. Under the leadership of UFA President Abdusalom Azizov, Uzbek football is on the right direction, and today it is among the fastest developing countries.

After that, the symbolic ribbons of the square were cut, relays and a number of interesting activities were organized with the participation of children.
