During the Uzbekistan Football Association’s coaching council meeting, candidates for the head coach position of the U-23 national team were discussed. As a result, Ravshan Khaydarov, one of the most experienced specialists in youth football development in the country and an honorary holder of the title “Honored Sports Coach of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” was nominated and approved by the management. Under Khaydarov’s leadership, various age-group national teams have won the Asian Championship twice and participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup on two occasions.
