The second round of the FIFA Futsal World Cup-2024 currently taking place in Uzbekistan has concluded today.

Initially, at the Universal sports complex in Bukhara, representatives of Group F, IR Iran and Guatemala, faced each other.

In this match, the IR Iran national team emerged victorious with a score of 9:4. As a result, Iran secured 6 points over two rounds and advanced to the play-off stage.

Next, in Tashkent at the Humo Arena, representatives of Group E, Morocco and Panama, played against each other.

In this game, the Morocco national team won – 6:3. With this victory, Morocco also accumulated 6 points over two rounds and qualified for the round of 16.

In Bukhara, an evening match took place between the France and Venezuela national teams. “Les Blues” achieved a significant advantage, winning 7:3. Consequently, France also secured 6 points over two rounds and advanced to the round of 16.

Another evening match at the Humo Arena featured the reigning World Champion, Portugal, against Tajikistan. Portugal managed to win 3:2 in a tough match. With this victory, Portugal also gathered 6 points, securing their spot in the Round of 16.
