FIFA delegation led by Gianni Infantino, accompanied by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, Vice-President of the Olympic Council of Asia and First Deputy Chairman of the NOC Otabek Umarov, First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association Ravshan Irmatov, as well as other officials, visited the Olympic Town constructed in Tashkent.

Construction of the Olympic Town, which began on November 9, 2022, has become a symbol of the great creative potential of our people and the global achievements of Uzbek sports. The complex stands out for its architectural excellence, energy efficiency, and integration of the most advanced innovative solutions.

The complex, built on more than 100 hectares, unites several modern facilities designed for different sports. These multifunctional venues are fully prepared to host international competitions across various disciplines.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino highly praised this sports infrastructure and acknowledged the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s sports sector, as well as the modern conditions being created.
