Today, September 8, the final match of the “CAFA Nations Cup 2025” was held at the “Olympic” Stadium in Tashkent.

Under the guidance of head coach Timur Kapadze, the Uzbekistan national team faced Iran and secured a 1-0 victory, claiming the tournament title.

The decisive goal for our team was scored by Hojiakbar Alijonov in the 120th minute.

Thus, for the first time in history, our national team became the champion of the “CAFA Nations Cup.”

The award ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
