Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team faced the host nation in the third round of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup currently being held in Saudi Arabia. Under the guidance of head coach Islom Ismoilov, our team defeated Saudi Arabia’s U-17 team with an impressive 3-0 victory.

The goals were scored by Jamshidbek Rustamov (57’, 70’) and Asilbek Aliyev (63’).

With this win, Uzbekistan secured 9 points in Group “A” and claimed the top position in the standings.

For your information, Uzbekistan’s U-17 team will play their next match on April 13. At the moment, the opponent for the quarterfinal is yet to be determined.
