A friendly match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will take place today. Before this match, the President of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Adlet Barmenkulov visited UFA and met with the first vice-President Ravshan Irmatov.
Ravshan Irmatov expressed his satisfaction that efforts to develop a close neighborhood in football between our countries have reached a new stage. In turn, the head of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, Adlet Barmenkulov, expressed his readiness to jointly implement new promising pruojects.
During the meeting, issues of the development and popularization of football in the two countries, the exchange of experience, and the establishment of comprehensive cooperation between football associations were widely discussed.
During the event, a memorandum was signed between the Uzbekistan Football Association and the Kazakhstan Football Federation.
The memorandum contains articles on the organization of international competitions and friendly matches with the participation of national teams and clubs of all youth categories of the two countries. It provides for the development of exchange programs for the training of coaches, referees and football specialists in a number of other areas, as well as support in the development of children’s football.
