On October 16, the Asian Football Confederation will host the annual awards ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, honoring the best performers in Asian football. The event will recognize players, coaches, and officials who showcased their talent during major competitions in 2025, including the AFC U-17 and U-20 Asian Cups as well as other continental tournaments.

We are delighted to share that Uzbekistan U-17 national team player Sadriddin Khasanov has been shortlisted in the “AFC Youth Player of the Year” category.

Hasanov faces competition from Alex Badolato (Australia) and Hamid Yusuf (Saudi Arabia) in this category.

For reference, Hasanov was previously named the The Most Valuable Player of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup, which was hosted by Saudi Arabia earlier this year.
