On September 2 in Tashkent, the second round of Group A fixtures at the “CAFA Nations Cup 2025” kicked off.

Uzbekistan, led by head coach Timur Kapadze, faced Turkmenistan and came away with a 2–1 victory.

Both goals for our team were scored by Igor Sergeev in the 37th and 44th minutes.

The national team will play their next match on September 5 against the Kyrgyz Republic. The game will take place at the “Olympic” Stadium, kicking off at 19:30.
