The Uzbekistan U-16 national team, led by head coach Sergey Chigodayev, will take part in an international friendly tournament hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia. The competition will feature U-17 national teams that are set to participate in the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup — namely Indonesia, Mali, and Tajikistan.

As you may know, our national team composed of players born in 2008 recently held a training camp in Spain in preparation for the World Cup, where they played friendly matches against England, Canada, and Morocco. Therefore, for the upcoming tournament in Indonesia, it is planned that our Uzbekistan U-16 team — consisting of players born in 2009 — will represent the country.
