In Tashkent, with the support and participation of the FIFA, was organized a meeting among the officials of a football associations of Turkic-speaking countries – Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Hungary, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

The representatives of the AFC and UEFA have attended the meeting. During the open and constructive discussion, the topics on development and popularization of football in these countries, organization of international competitions between the national teams and clubs were discussed. Also, the participants have deeply discussed such topics as education of a football specialists, Coaches, Referees and mutual exchange programs as well as establishing of a comprehensive cooperation between the football associations
