Today, after the next reporting Congress of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, the awarding ceremony of the best players of this year’s football season took place in the second part of the event.
The veteran of our football, Lev Viktorovich Vakhtin, who recently turned 90 years old, was recognized as worthy of the “Illuminator of Uzbek football” award. The prize was received by Nasir Otakuziev, vice-president of Fergana region football association.
For many years, he has contributed to the training of qualified football players and specialists in Uzbekistan.
One of the bright stars of Uzbek football in the past, who currently serves as the chairman of the Honorary Council of UFA – To’lagan Isakov was awarded the “Football Devotee” award.
Andijan FA was named “The best regional football association of the year”.
Nadir Elibayev, who won the season championship together with the “BMB” futsal team last season, was considered worthy of this award.
One of the leaders of the national futsal team of Uzbekistan, the champion of the last season, Husniddin Nishanov won the “Best futsal player of the year” award.
Umida Zoirova, a representative of the “Sevinch” club, won the “Best player of the year in the Women’s High League” award.
Vladislav Khan, the head coach of the “Sevinch” club, was recognized as “The best coach of the year in women’s football”. The prize was received by the assistant coach of the Sevinch club.
Diyora Habibullaeva, the leader of “Sogdiyona” football club, became the best scorer of the Oli League for the third season in a row. By this year, Diyora managed to score 61 goals in the championship.
Abduqodir Husanov, winner of the Asian Cup among players under 20 years of age, participant of the World Youth Championship, a talented player who has been playing reliably in the U-20, U-23 and national teams of Uzbekistan, was recognized as worthy of the “Best Young Player of the Year” award.
Gulshoda Saidkulova and Ahrol Riskullaev won the “Judge of the Year” award.
Also, a group of officials, experts and football devotees were awarded with the title of “Committed person of Uzbek football”:
Jahangir Usmanov and Bekzod Mamatkulov – for their contribution to the development of futsal in Uzbekistan, for their activeness in preparing for the upcoming World Championship, for their help in inviting one of the world’s best coaches, Jose Venancio Lopez;
Avaz Azizkhojaev – for his services in all-round support of the men’s and women’s Olympic national teams of Uzbekistan;
“Artel” company – for active sponsorship in football;
Rashid Talipov – a sports officer of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for his constant support of the association in the development of government decisions;
Shavkat Abdurazzakov is a real football enthusiast, for supporting all football initiatives in the region as the mayor of Namangan region; Shuhrat Mirkholdirshoev, vice-president of Namangan region football association, received the award.
Alisher Khodjajev – for his help in the implementation and coverage of football broadcasts.
Ravshan Haydarov, who won the U-20 Asian Cup hosted by our country, was awarded the “Best Coach of the Year” award.
Lyudmila Karachik, the leader of the Uzbekistan women’s national team and Sevinch club, won the “Best Female Footballer of the Year” award.
Abbosbek Fayzullayev, winner of the Asian Cup among players under 20 years of age, participant of the World Youth Championship, a young talent who has been playing reliably in the U-20, U-23 and national teams of Uzbekistan, was recognized as worthy of the “Best Player of the Year” award. His father Saidjon Faizullayev accepted the prize.
During today’s event, the U-17 national team of Uzbekistan, which took part in the World Championship among players under the age of 17 held in Indonesia and was ranked among the 8 strongest teams in the world, was also honored.
The Football Association of Uzbekistan was recognized as the “Best Association” of 2023 by the Asian Football Confederation. Also, you know that among sports organizations in Uzbekistan, it was recognized as “The best sports federation of the year”.
In this regard, these prizes were handed over to the President of UFA, Abdusalom Azizov.
