On October 22-23, the national futsal team of Uzbekistan played two friendly matches against the current Asian champion Japan national team and lost 0:2, 3:4.

Japan won 2-0 with the goals of Takumi Nagasaka and Sora Kanazawa in the first match under head coach Jose Venancio Lopez’s leadership of the national futsal team of Uzbekistan.

The second match was evenly contested and ended with a 4:3 victory for the guests. Jamshid Rakhmatullayev opened the scoring in the 5th minute. In the 5th and 6th minutes, Takumi Nagasaka scored two goals and led his team to the lead. In the 15th minute, Sora Kanazawa increased the difference to two. In the 26th minute, Elbek Tolkinov and in the 36th minute, Ilhomjon Hamroyev scored and restored the balance in the game. In the 38th minute, Yuto Tutsumi again led Japan to the lead, and in the 39th minute, Ilkhomjon Khamroyev failed to score a goal from a penalty, and thus the match came to an end.
