A Presidential decree titled “On measures to digitize and further popularize football in Uzbekistan” has been adopted.

According to the Decree, the following are defined as the main objectives for further developing football in our country:

• Bringing the football infrastructure in line with international standards and increasing the number of football pitches to boost the number of people regularly engaged in the sport;

• Fully digitizing the system for scouting and training talented football players to become professional footballers.

Additionally, the Decree outlines the creation of a National Football Electronic Platform, an integrated information system.

Starting from March 1, 2026, ticket sales for football matches will be conducted through a specialized online information system that incorporates personal identification and QR code (matrix barcode) technology.

Beginning January 1, 2026, on a pilot basis, the training sessions of football academies and schools, player scouting, and monitoring of medical and physical indicators will be carried out through this digital platform.

Furthermore, the following centers will be established within the National Football Center:

• A Digital Football Situational Center for early identification of talented football players;

• A VAR (Video Assistant Referee) Center to centrally monitor football matches using VAR technology;

• A “DATA Football” Center to store data and information from the digital platform.
