The 8th Sports Medicine Congress was held in Kuala Lumpur, with the participation of a delegation from the Uzbekistan Football Association.

This prestigious event focused on discussing the latest innovative technologies and methodologies in the field of sports medicine. During the congress, comprehensive presentations were delivered on topics such as protecting players in various climatic conditions, injury prevention, recovery processes, and modern treatment methods for injuries.

Leading doctors, physiotherapists, and specialists in sports medicine from around the world attended the congress, where new information was presented regarding proper nutrition for athletes, dietetics, and scientific approaches to supporting athlete health.

Representatives of the Uzbekistan delegation met with numerous international experts to exchange experiences. The presentations by the speakers will be translated into Uzbek and Russian in the coming days and shared with medical staff at the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA).
