On August 10, the first day of the 2024 Futsal World Cup trophy tour took place in Andijan.
The tour began with two major events—a children’s sports festival and a trophy experience. The first event welcomed 300 children from sports schools and underprivileged communities.
At the Universal Sports Complex “Andijan,” where the World Cup matches will kick off in September, a diverse entertainment program was organized, including sports competitions, quizzes, contests led by a host, a magician’s performance, and a dance flash mob. The day concluded with the distribution of souvenir gifts to all participants.
The trophy then made its way to the Eco Park in Andijan city, where all residents had the opportunity to take a memorable photo and participate in contests and raffles organized by FIFA and its partners.
One of the guests at the event was the hokim of Andijan region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov.
The trophy will next head to Fergana. The entire trophy tour will continue until August 24, visiting 13 cities in total.
