A meeting was organized with Guy Kiala, candidate for technical department of UFA and Michel Sablon, Chief Specialist of the Technical Department of FIFA in order to discuss the plans for drawing up short, medium and long-term plans for technical development, training coaches, developing national teams, and bringing Elite youth, kids, mass and women’s football and futsal to a new level.

“The development of football in our country has been raised to the level of the government. Our President always supports our activities. Over the past years, we have hosted two AFC tournaments. We will also hold the FIFA Futsal World Cup in September this year. Systematic development is underway for the completion of the national teams center. There, works will be started in the areas of football infrastructure, medicine and education. If we all work together, we will be able to achieve the intended goal” said Ravshan Irmatov, the Senior Vice-President of the UFA.

The role of technical directors and coaches in modern football, trends in this direction, successful implementation of programs aimed at the gradual development of mass and professional football in our country were also discussed. Opinions were exchanged on the international experience of systematically organizing and helping young talented players to reach professional football.

At the meeting held in a constructive spirit, the participants exchanged opinions on a number of directions and discussed future plans.

Guy Kiala, candidate for technical department of UFA has gained experience as a coach in Belgium, Great Britain, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
